About
Good coaching is
mostly noticing.
A coach standing behind you is not doing anything mystical. They are watching the same set you just did and noticing the thing you cannot see from inside it — that the third rep got shallow, that the bar drifted, that you rushed the way down.
That costs $60 to $150 an hour, which is why most people train without it and make the same mistake for years. Not because the fix is complicated, but because nobody was watching.
FitnessPrimer is an attempt at the noticing part. The coach has your log, your plates and the set you filmed, so when you ask what to do tonight the answer starts from what you actually did this week. Then it remembers, so the advice compounds instead of resetting.
It is not a replacement for a good coach, which is why Premium includes one. It is what you have on the days you do not have one.
Where the lines are
Four things it
will not do.
Diagnose anything
It reads movement, not injuries. Pain is a question for a physio, and the app says so rather than guessing.
Prescribe a calorie deficit
Targets come from your own goal and numbers, and can be changed. Nothing is set for you and locked.
Change your data on its own
The coach can propose a change — a swap, a de-load, a logged meal — and then waits. Nothing is applied until you tap Confirm.
Sell your training data
Videos and photos are used to answer your request and are deleted with your account, on request, immediately.
What happens to the video
Plainly.
The clip is uploaded, analysed, and the reading is stored against your account so progress can be compared over time. Deleting your account removes the analyses and the media together — there is a page that spells out exactly what goes, and it takes four taps in the app.
The Privacy Policy is the long version. If something in it is unclear, that is a fault worth reporting — say so.
